Oh my golly! It’s been a long time between drinks, hasn’t it? It would seem to me that everything possible under the sun has conspired to keep me from publishing a post since my last one in May.

Firstly I had to dedicate time and energy to external issues not of my making and then,
testing my computer knowledge well beyond its limits, I foolishly tried to up-load several plugins at once but used the incorrect source file, the result being my whole blog disappeared into cyberspace.

As you would have noticed, all we had for ten days was a blank space and I actually thought I had lost the site for all time. That is, until my good friend Ken, now residing in New Zealand, came to my rescue. He miraculously recovered the site and put me back in business.

But then I discovered over several days that I had writers block – or perhaps it was it simply malaise, a precursor of what was to come? A week confined to my bed.

And then, to cap it all, the header scene on my blog disappeared and it took several days to find the cause. Having recently changed my hosting over to www.hostgator.com my site had suddenly decided to revert to its original site.

Wow! Will these hitches ever end? Sounds like a good excuse for a holiday in Tahiti, to me. I wish!!

And so, all in all it’s been almost seven weeks since I last wrote a post and to all my patient readers looking for the latest updates I can but offer my humble apology and do my best to catch up in coming days. Though given my recent experience I could be tempting providence just by saying that… grin.
