Prostate Cancer Drugs: Did You Get What You Think You Got?
Big Pharma watchers – and the numbers increase exponentially almost daily – know well enough about the scurrilous and scandalous conduct of the large pharmaceutical companies and drug manufacturers, all in the name of boosting shareholder profits yet at the expense of the sick and downtrodden.
Although many, many stories have been written over the years by investigative journalists, and especially by Mike Adams, the Health Ranger, Editor of NaturalNews.com, the Federal authorities in the United States, and more particularly the Federal Drugs Administration FDA, has chosen to ignore even the worst behavior from pharmaceutical companies and for reasons best known to themselves.
But now, possibly with the change of government and the present tough economic times, one such company, Pfizer, has been hauled before the court and ordered to pay billions of dollars – for civil court actions – for fraudulently wrongfully branding drugs with the intent to defraud or mislead, and for paying kickbacks to health practitioners to give preference to its misbranded drugs.
Cases like this make you wonder just what drugs you are being peddled by your doctor and will they do for you what you think they will? And ask yourself. Is your health carer really interested in your good health and well-being or is he more interested in his bank balance? Obviously, it pays to shop around until you find one you can have trust in.
We can but hope that this is only the first of many such legal actions against companies of the same ilk. And unfortunately there are many.
