It is made clear throughout the blog that all posts are actually extracts from a book, called: Men at Risk, a Rush to Judgment, written by Ronald E. Wheeler, M.D., A noted Urologist

I have browsed through the various posts and was exceedingly impressed with the author’s well balanced, informed stance on the matters discussed. Not often do you find a urologist who would prefer you opt for chronic disease management (CDM) rather than you jump, with fear driven foolish haste, straight into radical surgery.

I am not normally given to recommending books and not having read the book in its entirety I can hardly do that now. However, what I can say is that I am impressed with Dr. Wheeler’s even handed, practical, fresh and very honest take on the many unknowns and difficulties dealing with, and then managing prostate cancer diagnosis.

I feel the book has definite value to me and will purchase it.
