Mushrooms Are Both Medicinal and Anti-Cancer
The following item from CancerDecisions.com is comforting to me as my wife and I have always believed that mushrooms, in general, are beneficial to one’s health and well-being. Mushrooms have always been part of my cancer diet though I have never bothered to be selective as to particular types even though the evidence is stacked in favour of certain mushrooms being recognized as anti-cancer. For me it is taste that takes precedence rather than type, classification or known health attribute.
I also believe the general public has a very good perception as to the magnificent health giving qualities of mushrooms and that being the case I wasn’t going to do a post on the subject. That is, until a closing statement from Ralph Moss caught my eye and being the modern medicine cynic that I am, I just had to address it. The particular passage reads…
“Oftentimes, the information we receive about cancer is inaccurate. In fact, the typical cancer patient is kept in the dark and fed a load of manure…just like the proverbial mushroom”
Ahh! My sentiments exactly.
