This is a follow-up to my post on the 23 August concerning Pan Pharmaceuticals, the major Australian supplement supplier forced to close by the unconscionable actions of the Therapeutics Goods Administration, (TGA), a Federal Government body.

MORE than 100 companies have expressed interest in joining a class action against the federal Government over the collapse of Pan Pharmaceuticals in 2003.
The Australian understands two class actions are being considered against the Therapeutic Goods Administration — one on behalf of Pan’s shareholders and another by companies who used Pan to manufacture their products, with a sub-group of suppliers who provided raw materials.
But others in the industry are fearful of retribution by the TGA if they join legal action, The Australian has been told.
