Update on my Prostate Cancer Regimen and Such

Hi guys,

As I mentioned in my earlier posting, an update from me on my current health situation is long overdue, and this is it. I’ll try to give you as detailed an overview as I can and let you draw your own conclusions as to the wisdom of my philosophical bent and as to the practicality of my cancer killing strategies.

The disappointing Prostate Specific Antigen (PSA) test results in December, (8.4 - up from 6.9) caused a slight, and temporary, hiatus in my positive mental attitude, necessitating taking a step or two back in order to properly rationalize the results.

Well, I am now again on track, buoyed with vigor and an increased determination not to be swayed by this, or similar, subjective and ambiguous, medical test.

Health wise, I’m feeling on top of the world, with no real evidence of having an aggressive form of prostate cancer. Although my prostate is quite swollen and can be directly related to some minor problems with my waterworks and the occasional hemorrhaging, it has been that way for several years, long before any indication of cancer. Moreover, the hemorrhaging is I believe a direct result of me inadvertently agitating it through compression, sitting for long periods, hunched over the computer keyboard. A proposition incidentally, that my urologist discounted on two separate occasions when I put it to him and then, suggested it himself on the third visit, as his new diagnosis. All this is being more than capably handled – oops! I’d better rephrase that – controlled, by my homeopath.

As for my diet, it remains primarily vegan. I take no dairy products such as milk, butter, margarine, cheese or products containing such, e.g. milk chocolate (which I love). Red meats are out as are all Soy based products, cordials, soft drinks, sodium (salt) and sugars. I also try to exclude salt and sugars from other food stuff but that is quite hard to achieve, even so-called health foods obtained from health food shops, have copious quantities of each.

My darling wife continues to produce raw fruit and vegetable blends twice daily, in addition to which I also take Rochway Ginger Premium Extract (Immune & Prostate Formula) and a new product on the market, Dr. Red Blueberry Punch (in lieu of Dr. Reds Ginger Punch taken previously).

I am endeavoring to cut down on my complimentary medicine intake, or at least try to buy less general health, immune promoting items and more of the ones with reputed cancer killing attributes. Some items claim to do both, of course.

So what am I taking?

• Lactobacillus Acidophilus & Bifidobacterium Lactic Organisms (50 Billion)

Looking at the listings above it does appear that I am consuming a lot and that maybe so, but what the hell, you only live once (grin) and surely, it is worth making every effort to hang on to ‘this’ life. As a training dictum goes “If It Is To Be – It Is Up To Me” /end.
