PSA Results Are In
Well, I finally got my PSA results today and I find that the score has dropped from 7.3 down to 6.9. That’s a good result, isn’t it? Okay, Okay, it isn’t much but with my cancer supposedly growing you’d be excused for thinking the PSA score would surely have increased. But alas, that isn’t necessarily so. I’m led to believe that there can be a normal fluctuation in the readings. But hey! I’m estatic. To my mind this is a positive result indicating quite conclusively that my holistic regimen is working.
Again, let me remind you folks that this result comes less than two months into therapy and that I don’t really expect more conclusive results for another four months or so. The body needs time to change.
Needless to say I am quite over the moon as is my dear wife.
I’ve made a new appointment to see my urologist next Monday 21st August and I am looking forward to some interesting discussion.
Post Note: Had my chat with my urologist this afternoon to review my progress and decide on the course of action, if any, for the future. My primary options are still brachytherapy and hormone treatment or to watch and wait. Naturally, my wife and I opted for the latter to continue with the holistic therapy.
We will meet again mid December for another review and PSA blood test.
