Planning and Implementation
And so there we were, all available medical options explored and put aside, one or two perhaps temporarily, decisions made and our planning progressing nicely. You will note that I mentioned having put one or two medical options aside, perhaps temporarily. Well, determined as I am to make natural therapy work for me I am, first and foremost, a realist, well aware of the need to keep certain options open. Applying the “What If” principal I have to acknowledge the possibility of microscopic metastasis having already taken hold in other organs is very real and I might not have the time to take the longer, natural path of up to six months for initial results. But hey! Let’s not be morbid, huh? For quite some time I have been searching the internet looking for reliable web sites dealing with all aspects of cancer, but more specifically with prostate cancer, of course. I have also checked out a number of books written by people who have gone through the experience using alternative therapies with considerable success (I will make note of these web sites and books later). Additionally, Dorothy had been searching for cook books and recipes aimed at enhancing my immune system as well as for attacking cancer cells. So you will understand that we had, by now, a reasonable platform from which to launch our action plan. But what we now had to do was to find one or two professional support people, in the broad field of holistic medicine, and from whom we could glean sound advice and guidance. We also needed to checkout the local prices of the many and varied health products we would require and to find a suitable supplier, or suppliers. The products I will list later under a category of their own for easy reference purposes. I will also list the reason or purpose I am using each item as well as their local cost. For the moment I am not purchasing any items via the internet but that could well change. For many of you I realize that the internet might be your best choice, particularly for very specific items and available through just one source. Having said all that, I am aware that some suppliers do have Affiliate Programs to encourage web masters and blog masters to promote their products in return for a commission on referral sales. The wizardry of the web these days allows sales to take place even though the buyer deals direct with, and only with, the supplier. The Affiliate never the less, gets his or her referral commission just the same. Should I go in this direction later, be assured that any such relationship will be well indicated on my site. It is simply something I am reviewing at present to help pay for the products I am having to use. As you will see later, the cost is not inconsiderable. m/f “Life is but a walking shadow, a poor player who struts and frets his hour
upon the stage and then is heard no more. It is a tale, told by an idiot,
full of sound and fury, signifying nothing.” Shakespeare: Macbeth
